BAD MEAT

"Bad Meat," produced by CCC alum, Bruno Bonugli, will have its L.A. premiere at the Los Angeles Film Festival (June 17th-26th) as one of 10 films in the festival's Narrative Competition.

SYNOPSIS
Two hapless losers who live in a junk yard in the meat-packing town of Butcher's Mill, Illinois, cook up a plan to kidnap their local U.S. Congressman for ransom. They think it's their ticket to a better life, but their prime score turns into a raw deal when it descends into the most fouled up kidnapping in the history of crime!

ALUMNI SCRIPT IN CINESTORY SEMI-FINALS

Bruno Bonugli's short script "King Albert & the Dreamsicle Sticks" made the semi-finals of the CineStory contest. Very exciting! The story is about a man who reminisces about his childhood, and is drawn back to a funny, yet compelling episode of his life when he overcame many obstacles, including the school bully, to fulfill a dream.
