Bruno Bonugli - Director
Bruno is a native of Chicago and grew up on a steady diet of movies,
television and
pasta. His undying passion to create and inspire led him to study at
Victory Gardens Theatre
and Columbia College, where he received his B.A. in Film.
Bruno was awarded the Italian American Heritage award for "The Paisanos", a comedy which he wrote
and directed. He also was a semi-finalist in the 2007 International Family Film Festival and
CineStory Screenwriting Competition for his short
script “King Albert and the Dreamsicle Sticks”.
Bruno wrote and directed the award-winning short film, “The
Poet of Canis”, and is the Co-Producer
for
the feature film “Bad Meat”, starring Chevy Chase, now available on DVD.
Bruno has also studied directing at UCLA under Matt Harrison.
